Message So the other day it got very very cold. Down to like -20F. Started the car in the morning, and trying to use the clutch I noticed it was very soft, and that the engagement was very low and very abrupt. It seemed to get better as the engine got really warmed up. Now again today, same problem, except a bit worse. Engages fairly harshly and very low.

My searching leads me to think my hydraulics are going out. I'm thinking either master or slave cylinder (likely the slave being more exposed to the elements?). I will check the fluid level, but I'm 99% sure it's fine.

Anyway I can verify this? We have like 7 inches of snow on the ground and not dying to freeze my ass off trying to fix it.
